Longtime boat captain Ric Legge and Deanna VanPatten recently uncorked Bacchus Wine Bar at 2404 Strand, Crows Bar & The Mediterranean Chef.
Bacchus is named for the Roman god of wine, intoxication and debauchery, and sells hard-to-find products from around the world. Bacchus includes a 30-foot bar and a pub atmosphere, and the owners have said they plan to offer live music.
Bacchus' kitchen features a coastal menu of delicious pairings developed by Frank Kastelz. Whether it is the Lollipop Lamb Chops, Crab Ravigote, or the scrumptious Kiona Riesling Pound Cake with Champagne Macerated Raspberries, you are sure to find the perfect complement to any wine.
