When Jason Carmichael finds himself searching for a new writing partner, Phoebe Craddock is not exactly what he has in mind. What evolves is a quirky kind of relationship - part romance, part friendship. Their collaboration eventually produces a string of successes, but their relationship is not always quite as successful.
Some of the most famous chamber music received premiers in living rooms, not concert halls. Composers would often rewrite orchestral works for smaller ensembles, so that music lovers could enjoy playing masterful symphonies and concertos in their own houses. Restoration Chamber Music offers an exciting and surprising program of music written for the living room. Come enjoy one of Galveston's most celebrated historic homes, while hearing virtuoso performances by our region's best musicians.
