Welcome to Harbor House, a modern day translation of a working waterfront warehouse, recreated as a casual, tasteful 42-room inn-style hotel.
This colorful dockside haven is the site of an early Galveston Steamship terminal - the perfect vantage point for portside ship watching today. Sail to Harbor House and moor your boat in one of the 9 slips adjacent to the hotel. Enjoy the nearby attractions - the Texas Seaport Museum, Tall Ship Elissa, The Great Storm Theater, retail shops, and restaurants.
Savor the comfort and casual atmosphere of 39 nautical-style guest rooms and 3 one-bedroom suites, all handsomely decorated with designer fabrics, white washed oak furnishings, pickled wood floors, and Berber carpets.

My husband booked a couple of nights for us and the rooms were excellent and the service was great. We had a great view of the pier and the ships. I would recommend this as a place to stay when visiting Galveston. |
