On Sept. 13th 2008 Hurricane Ike destroyed our store in Galveston,TX. A 17 ft tide surge flooded our shop with muddy water seven feet deep, a total loss. Myself and business partner Skip Martin decided not to re-open Hava Cigar Shop and Lounge in Galveston. Dec.31st 2008 I chose to withdraw as a partner from Galveston Bay Tobacco LLC.

Restoring the city has been a slow process. I am remodeling the old store at 415 21st St. in the Downtown Historic District. Opening on September 1st, 2009 as Havana Alley Cigar Shop & Lounge, we will offer a wide variety of premium imported cigars and accessories, a Caribbean style walk-in humidor, luxurious smoking lounge with fine leather furniture & oriental rugs. Our �Members Only� game room will have flat screen TVs, surround sound audio & Wi/Fi.
