The Safari is a Seawall hangout complete with outdoor palapas, full-service bar, televised sports, and mouth-watering deli sandwiches and other edibles. And is the brainchild of the same owner who brought us The Press Box sports bar.

According to The Austin Chronicle:

Dine on the porch and soak in the majesty of the sea, or simply watch the parade of passersby along the Seawall while delighting in the Safari's specialties: incredible muffalettas and $1 Bloody Marys on Sunday! The thatched and bambooed interior is a fine respite should the Bloody Marys not counteract the sunlight quickly enough.

Locals have discovered that Safari is one of those hideaways where everyone knows everyone (or eventually will), and that the drinks, the food, the view, the fun is always top-notch.
