Excellent experience! I appreciated how the history of the building was shared along with the history of Texas! Very affordable- plan on at least 2 hours, so much to see! The staff is very well trained, friendly in true TX fashion!

Lots of local and state history, much in chronological order. There are many paintings, sculptures, and artifacts to see. The building is also quite interesting.

Very interesting collection by Mr. Bryan- I was particularly impressed with the early statehood focus. It’s a newer museum so they are filling out, but everything was well curated. The host was nice, I did not interact with the docent, but they seemed eager to help. I like the vision of the museum and the work they have done inside is very impressive. I would recommend buying the “Galveston pass” to get this and a few other things to do on the island for cheaper.

The Bryan Museum is a wonderful collection of Texas history from prehistoric to modern times. The collection is immense with art, weapons, saddles, clothing and much more. The old orphanage building that houses the museum is also an historic structure and its history is touched on as well. A really interesting museum and very customer friendly.

Awesome museum with a lot of artifacts and collector items! Interesting history, the museum is housed in the former Galveston orphanage! Fun scavenger hunt activity too! Unique exhibit upstairs with a display of doors that you can open and look into the past , very thoughtful!

Such an AMAZING museum. The information was presented very fairly without a noticeable bias. There was a large variety of artifacts and displays. Gorgeous building. We loved the use of technology (tablets and videos) to really enhance the presentation. Unfortunately, the gift shop was closed for a redesign. As was the ground floor (they call it that, but it's not the main/first floor that you enter in) We'd definitely come back here again.
