Some of the rides are not working and it does stink to pay full price but not to enjoy the full experience. Some of the stuff closed earlier than others like the food and caricature which we wanted to do but he packed up before we could get to him, about an hour before closing. I know it takes a bit to make one but I didn't see anything about when he closed down. I also think that a walk on should be discounted if people are coming in later with a group that has paid full price earlier in the day.

We had a great time during a very surreal experience in a very thick fog! It was $10 to park and $15-ish each to get in. There's one main restaurant, Bubba Gump's and a smaller patio side-restaurant, Lt Dan's. We were there on a Saturday evening just as the sun set so the darkness and thick fog enhanced the photos. I'll have to go back when I can actually see the water!

Enjoyed my visit to the pier. Purchased the $11 walking ticket & $7 single ride for the Ferris wheel. The Ferris wheel would have been more enjoyable if it hadn't been so windy. The ride operator kept the Ferris wheel stalled in the sky a little tooo long for my liking. Otherwise the view was worth it. I enjoyed the rocking chairs while sipping a mixed daiquiri & staring off into the ocean. Also the coin operated viewers were not working properly. I tried to use more than one as well. Bathrooms were very clean too.

I can tell this would be a great summer putting...good price with just enough excitement. Maybe a good birthday outing. We are too old for the rides but it was great to see the families enjoying themselves.

The pier has a modern vibe, which is unexpected for a historic place. I was a bit bummed that they charge $12 per adult just to walk through the amusement park. But hey, if you’re a kid or someone who loves rides, it’s still a great place to spend a few hours!

Pleasure Pier in Galveston is definitely a cool place to visit, especially if you’re looking for a fun, classic boardwalk experience. The pier offers a great mix of rides, games, and delicious food, with stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico. Whether you’re taking a ride on the Ferris wheel or enjoying a casual stroll along the boardwalk, there’s something for everyone. The atmosphere is lively and family-friendly, making it a perfect spot for a day out with loved ones. While it’s not the largest amusement park, it’s packed with charm and offers a unique vibe that makes it well worth the visit.
