Galveston Island Humane Society’s “Steps for Pets”
Galveston Island Humane Society (GIHS) is hosting the first-ever “STEPS FOR PETS” walk – Saturday, April 10 from 10am-12 noon on Stewart Beach. This fundraising event – dedicated to Community Support Programs at GIHS – was created to help decrease the number of animals surrendered to the shelter and to assist pet owners in maintaining their animals good health.
