The Galveston Esports Summit returns to the island August 25 – 27 with more action planned than ever before! The Galveston Island Convention Center, 5600 Seawall Boulevard, will be transformed to a hands-on play experience for all ages.

You don’t have to be a hard-core gamer to dive into this event. From the front door to the back of the floor, visitors will have a choice of indulgences from virtual reality to gaming tournaments, robot battles to one-on- one immersive battle stations. The US Army returns full force with the Army Esports Team and Esports pros Head Shot Posse ready to take care of business. Want to take the challenge? Register for tournaments online to play at the summit. Trophies and awards will be presented on Sunday to the victors.

New this year – Pokémon! As popular as ever, choice of Pokémon play will include Pokken, PokémonGo, GYM Leader Battles, Open Plan, and Scarlet/Violet. Registration is required to compete in all Esports and Pokémon tournaments. 501st returns again this year joining Star Wars Enthusiasts and an outstanding collection of robots.
Interactive experiences include virtual reality, battle pods, Bot Battles, free games, panels, retro games, and much, much, more. Meet Esports pros and see first hand the techniques and speed that make them the best in their game! One pass and play all day at the Galveston Esports Summit. Educational and informative panels provide insight into the business, education, coding, game development, and fun of Esports, with the best and brightest in programming to provide input. The latest technology and equipment will be available to test drive with new games on free play. Vendors will offer a choice of new products and memorabilia. Summit hours are Friday, 10 – 5, Saturday, 10 – 6, Sunday, 11 – 4. Summit passes are all inclusive – play all day. 3 day and daily passes sold online at galvestonesports.com. Day passes sold at the door.
