Robert’s Lafitte is a gay and gay-friendly institution on Galveston Island, and – in many ways – one of its best kept secrets.
The bar is located on 25th Street, just steps from Seawall Boulevard and the Gulf. Lafitte’s is known for its closeknit, “neighborhood” ambience – as well as its spectacular special events thrown throughout the year. Patrons flock to Lafitte’s for its “Turnabout Show,” “Puppet Show,” and the hysterical “Rocky Horrible Show.”
The bar also features a tropical patio.
