Hurricane Hanna made landfall far to the south of Galveston Island.  We were lucky this round, and wish those in the valley a quick recovery.

Meanwhile on the Island, the Galveston.com webcams were recording timelapse video of the Seawall.  We’ve assembled a playlist of the video and included a bonus video of a kitesurfer enjoying the post-Hanna winds on Sunday.
