From San Luis Pass Road, take Flamingo Drive, turn right on Glossy Ibis Way and continue to the ADA accessible parking area. Simply take the boardwalk over the dunes and arrive and one of the nicest stretches of beach on Galveston Island.

ADA Accessible parking spaces are available.
Obviously, you should not attempt to walk through the dunes. Take the boardwalk over.
Take a moment to look for birds and other wildlife in the dunes.
If you look to the east, you will see wide open beach.
And, if you look to the west, you will also see wide open beach. Picking a direction to walk will be your toughest decision.
