Birding Location & Shrimp Boat Mosquito Fleet

Wharf Road, Galveston, TX (Directions)

Located downtown, Pier 19 is the dock for our Mosquito Fleet but on many days you will find more pelicans than shrimp boats!  Two fish markets, Katie’s Seafood and Sampson & Son’s Seafood, unload fish and shrimp and often toss extras to the pelicans.  It’s fun to watch!
