MOD Coffeehouse

First time in Galveston after 10 years. MOD still offers great coffee in a very cosy atmosphere, whether it's the quaint inside or the lusciously green outdoor area on Postoffice St. Still my favorite place in Galveston

The MOD coffee shop is one of my favorite places on the island. The service, atmosphere, and drinks are all terrific.

MOD Coffeehouse is a great spot in downtown Galveston Island, offering well-crafted coffee in a cozy, inviting atmosphere. We ordered a Flat White, and they definitely know how to make it right—excellent espresso with perfectly balanced milk. They also have a nice selection of pastries to complement your drink. The café is divided into two sections. The first room, where you order, has a lot of character and a unique charm. The second seating area, however, feels somewhat unfinished—almost like it’s waiting for inspiration and final touches to bring it to life. Service is friendly and attentive, adding to the overall warmth of the place. But what truly sets MOD Coffeehouse apart is the patio. Completely wrapped in greenery and vines, it creates a peaceful, shaded retreat. I’d definitely prefer to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere surrounded by nature. A solid choice for anyone looking for quality coffee and a laid-back, welcoming vibe in Galveston. Highly recommended!

I love MOD. But, who doesn't, really?!?! Great people, great coffee, yummy food... Most recently had a pumpkin bar, and OMG such a delicious treat! Craving another and can't wait to go back!

What can I say? Mod Coffeehouse is my new favorite coffee shop. Great coffee, awesome atmosphere. The outdoor patio is beautiful with all of the greenery/plants. The interior is rustic, clean, with a neat art atmosphere. Will be stopping here every time in Galveston!
