The park features a children's playground, umbrella and chair rentals, volleyball courts, an outdoor pavilion with a snack bar, souvenir shop, restrooms, and bath house.

The Stewart Beach Community Room is available for company parties, wedding receptions, family reunions, and other special events. Outside catering is permitted. Contact the Park Manager at (409) 797-5182 for availability and prices.

We went to Stewart beach early in the morning and stayed through lunch (we have a two year old and that was about as much sun as she needed). It was a great family atmosphere. Very clean and the area with rental chairs was freshly tilled so the sand was soft. We chose not to rent chairs and spread a towel in front of that section. Lovely surf and we enjoyed snacking from a picnic basket while we took breaks from the water. There is a parking and beach area, to the east, away from the beach chair rental side that we may try next time and bring our own tent canopy and chairs. Highly recommend Stewart Beach.
